Welcome for the new Session 2021-22

Dear Parent,

 Greetings from Salwan!!

“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.”
– Mahatma Gandhi

Hope this letter finds you in good health and safe environment. We welcome you and your ward to the new session 2021-2022. As quoted by Mahatma Gandhi, it was proven that a global pandemic can affect our mental and physical health – and that’s without even catching the virus! However, by staying positive and refusing to give up, despite the challenges that came our way, with the inner strength in many of us, we were able to endure.
Parents also have had multifaceted roles to play in the past year. Apart from being a parent, you were also their friend, a counsellor, a mentor, and a teacher while taking care of the family members and their needs, the behavioural issues of the children, household chores along with your work responsibilities. It was a humungous task to keep everyone in harmony and sync in the family, meanwhile coordinating with the school. My compliments to all the parents, teachers, and their families.
Henceforth, in the new session, we are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. It’s an established fact that to be successful, our children need support from both the home and school. And the proven strong partnership in the past virtual year, has really built a solid bedrock of support system between the school and the parents. Hence, we continue to work in collaboration on this concrete baseline of trust and regard for each other to share the responsibility for our children’s success.
We continue to guide you on handling children and their ever-growing needs, as children are staying at home all the time. Segregating the time and scheduling the routine of the children at home is of utmost importance. And you are requested to continue to be the eyes and ears of the teachers, at home. Continue to teach them and recap on daily basis after the class; allow them to play and converse; give them time to be with nature and grandparents, let them experience about love, empathy, kindness, tolerance, patience, respect for all and so on.
Needless to reiterate that teachers are there to guide and support you on all the skills, aptitudes, and competencies which we need to work on with the children and for the children. Therefore, with renewed energy, refreshed enthusiasm, and even greater passion to learn, unlearn and relearn with the children in the classrooms (be it virtual or physical), we continue to take a LEAP into the new session from April 1st, 2021 (Thursday).
