On 20th February 2025, the students of Class 4 from Salwan Junior School, Naraina Vihar, embarked on an enriching educational visit to Amrit Udyan, located within the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises. The visit aimed to provide students with an immersive experience of India’s rich biodiversity, exquisite flora, and the historical significance of this renowned garden.

The students, accompanied by their teachers, were welcomed by the lush greenery and a vibrant display of seasonal flowers. The meticulously designed landscape, adorned with various roses, tulips, daffodils, and marigolds, captivated their attention. The children were fascinated by the unique plant species, including medicinal and aromatic herbs, which added an educational dimension to the visit.

The students explored different garden sections, including the Circular, Long, and Bonsai Gardens. They were particularly excited to see the Musical Fountain, which enhanced the scenic beauty of the garden.

During the visit, the students were encouraged to observe and document different plants, fostering their curiosity about nature and environmental conservation. They were also given an insightful talk on the importance of maintaining ecological balance and the role of gardens in sustaining biodiversity.

The vibrant floral arrangements, the serene atmosphere, and the historical significance left a lasting impression on them. The trip was an excellent blend of learning and recreation, making it a truly memorable experience.

The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to the authorities at Amrit Udyan for their warm hospitality. Such experiential learning opportunities continue to inspire students to appreciate and protect nature.
