“Teachers who are committed to the growth of their students must also be committed to their own growth.”                                                             -Andy Hargreaves

A highly engaging Capacity Building Programme (CBP) session was organised by CBSE at Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar on Saturday, 23rd November. The session focused on “Learning Outcomes and pedagogies” focusing primarily on Blooms Taxonomy and 21st Centuries Competencies.

The session talked in detail about three domains that is cognitive, psychomotor. and affective in Childs learning. The session was interactive, with numerous activities that motivated teachers to reflect on their challenges and identify solutions. A highlight was an activity where we prepared a kheer using the cognitive domain, which was both enjoyable and enlightening. This exercise helped us understand the importance of choosing the questions to assess all domains of a child’s development.

The session was self-motivating, encouraging teachers to think critically about their teaching practices. We found the session highly beneficial and look forward to applying the learnings in my teaching practice.
