“Rakhi is the thread that ties hearts together in love and protection.”
On August 16, 2024, Class I students presented a vibrant Rakhi Assembly, blending tradition with eco-friendliness. Through a beautiful skit, they strengthened sibling bonds and promoted cultural heritage while also emphasizing the importance of tree plantation, known as Vriksha Bandhan. The assembly featured a heartfelt choir performance and a mesmerizing dance routine, with the highlight being the Vriksha Bandhan ceremony, where students tied rakhis to plants, symbolizing the bond between humans and nature.
To continue the celebration, on August 17, 2024, the KG students also hosted a heartwarming Rakhi Special Assembly filled with joy and learning. The event began with melodious Rakhi-themed songs, setting a festive tone. A beautifully decorated Rakhi thali was presented, and students explained its significance. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, they shared stories about the bond of siblings. A short story further deepened their understanding of Rakhi’s message of love and care, making the assembly unforgettable.
