To honor the teachings and legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a special assembly was organized for students of Classes I to V. The celebration began with a serene Prabhat Pheri, where students participated in a morning procession filled with reverence. Shabad Kirtan was performed, filling the atmosphere with devotion, followed by a short video highlighting the birth, teachings, and values imparted by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Students observed the practices of the faith, removing their shoes and covering their heads as a sign of respect. Teachers shared Guru Nanak Ji’s teachings, emphasizing how his values of compassion, humility, and selfless service can enrich student life.
In the spirit of the festival, traditional Bhajans were sung, creating a joyful yet reflective ambiance. To further deepen the connection, each student was given Kada Prasad as a symbol of unity and blessing. Students were encouraged to visit the Gurudwara on Gurpurab and experience the Prabhat Pheri, allowing them to engage further with the cultural and spiritual essence of the occasion.
