All we desire for our country is happiness. Let’s salute our great nation on its Independence Day! We are so grateful for the freedom we have and are proud of the nation we were born to!
Independence Day special assembly was conducted virtually this year with joy, delectation and unity by the students and staff of SJS Naraina on Friday, 13 th August 2021 to pay homage to the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and those who gave their lives, mind, body and soul to free our country. The students of Class V participated and performed a gamut of wonderful performances.The students presented a wonderful speech spreading the message of peace, non-violence and love for the nation. This was followed by a musical rendition by the school choir-‘’Har kadam watan mere naaz hai tera’’ that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland.Thereafter, the celebrations continued with a mesmerizing dance on ‘’ Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’’ promoting unity, harmony and respect for every individual irrespective of caste and creed.
The programme culminated on a very promising and positive note with the National Anthem and vote of thanks expressing gratitude to everyone present and applauding the accomplishment of the wonderful participants.
