Annual Cultural Fiesta “Sunhere Pal” was held on Saturday 11th March 2023. The theme of the programme was to the take the audience back to their childhood through a rhythmical blend of music and dance. The guests for the program were Ms. Raj Kumari, Deputy Director of Education, MCD Karol Bagh Zone, Ms. Sadhana Meena, School Inspector , MCD Karol Bagh Zone and Ms. Nisha Obheroi , Former Headmistress, Salwan Public School , Rajendra Nagar.
The programme started by taking the blessings of all mighty by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
The guests and the audience were welcomed by Ms. Sonia Wadhwa Ma’am followed by the school Annual Report given by the school Head boy and Head girl.
Then the choir group of the school sang the beautiful prayer “Teri Hai Zameen Tera Aasmaa”. This was followed by an amalgamation of skit and songs showcasing childhood memories, funfilled days of holidays and happiness.
The programme proceeded by another song sung by the choir group “I am so Happy” projecting the happy moments of childhood cherished by everyone.
The spirit of childhood and happiness was further enhanced by a short Hindi poem recited by a child.
The guests appreciated the hard work and efforts of the students and staff members and also motivated them by their encouraging words.
The programme concluded by extending a’ Vote of Thanks’ to the esteemed guests , Director Sir , Principal Ma’am and the lovely audience.
