Basant Panchami, also known as Saraswati Puja marks the arrival of the spring festival. The festival is celebrated at the end of the Magha month which is generally the end of January and the start of February. Basant Panchami is dedicated to Goddess of knowledge, Goddess Saraswati.

It was celebrated in the school on Tuesday, 25th January 2023 with full sanctity and devotion. We worship Goddess Saraswati to get enlightened with knowledge, and wisdom and get rid of lethargy, sluggishness, and ignorance

The celebration started with ceremonial lamp lighting by the School Principal, Ms Sonia Wadhwa along with Vice head boy and Head Girl of school. The school choir presented Saraswati Vandana “Namo Sharada, Namo Sharadha” which was echoed by the audiences gathered to witness this assembly. Solo performances were given by Jay Berry of Class IV-B on ‘Ram Bhajan’ and Anhad Sodhi  of Class I-B, on “Krishan Bhawan” in their melodious voice on the musical track. The whole school reverberated with divinity and serenity.  All the students sang ‘Saraswati Vandana’ in a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

The assembly culminated with an enlightening message from the Principal on Maa Saraswati, followed by the importance of gaining knowledge and working hard to gain knowledge.
