Children’s Day

“A child can always teach an adult three things: to be happy for no reason, to be always busy with something, and know how to demand with all his might what you want.” – Paulo Coelho

The students of  Salwan Junior School, Naraina Vihar celebrated their most eagerly awaited day i.e Children’s Day with utmost fun, laughter, and joy. The day had a series of surprises planned by the teachers and the school. The day started with a very touching surprise from their class teacher which was handmade cards with handwritten quotes for the beloved children. The students also enjoyed sweets given by the school authorities. The students danced with their hearts out with their teachers, had lunch together, and enjoyed chit-chatting with their teachers. The teachers of Salwan Junior School performed Bollywood numbers for the students and also sang a beautiful parody in their melodious voices. It was followed by a jam session where the entire school danced together. This was not it, the teachers planned a set of 5-6 games and sports activities for the students which were age-appropriate and skill-based. The students enjoyed these games and sports and won prizes for the same. These were like lemon-spoon race, Musical chair, Candy game, Bead the string, Solve the maze, Flip grid, etc. These games not only added the fun element but also helped the kids to relax yet enhance their skills and abilities. The day was fun-filled and full of activities. The students dressed in their casuals too added to the homely carefree feel.
