Salwan Junior School observed the Earth Day in the school premises on 22nd April, 2022 in a meaningful and thought-provoking manner with an inspiring play, dances and song highlighting the importance of conserving every drop of water and maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Students performed the role of elements of earth like air, water, soil and gave a very strong message to reduce pollution and agreed to prioritize Earth’s protection. The little Salwanians promised to set an example to the society by acting responsibly in saving their earth. Entire programme was based on the theme “Invest in Our planet”.They pledged to make their surroundings a ‘No – Plastic’ Zone and create plastic pollution free world. The day turned fun – filled with a creative activity in all the classes. It provided a platform to the zestful Salwanians to display their artistic skills and to showcase their awareness of conserving natural resources.
