Gandhi Ji was a fearless campaigner for the rights and dignity of all people, whose constant and unwavering promotion of non-violence as a tool to win over hearts and minds has forever left its marks on the world.Live Assembly on Gandhi Jayanti was conducted on 01.10.2021 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The day started with prayer ‘Raghupati Raghav’ and later on a solo rendition of ‘Vaishnav jana ko’. Thereafter, the students presented the assembly on the theme ‘Non-Violence’ depicting the life of the great man who lived on the principles of ahimsa and non-violence. Through a role-play, a student presented as to why Gandhi Ji chose to follow the path of ahimsa and non-violence to fight against the British Empire. The philosophical and pragmatic ideals of Gandhi Ji were conveyed very beautifully through this role-play. The students laid emphasis on non-violence with beautiful quotes given by Gandhiji which are most relevant in today’s time.
