To enhance the mathematical and logical bent of mind of our young Salwanians of Grade IV, an Inter-class Mathematics Quiz Competition was organized within the school campus on Monday, February 6, 2023. The Quiz was conducted in four rounds namely the Direct Question Round, the Audio-visual Round, Take your pick, and lastly the Buzzer Round. 12 students (6 from each section) who got the highest scores in the Prelim round consisting of an MCQ Pen and Paper Mathematics Quiz were selected for the final round. Four teams of 3 participants each – namely The Mathegicians, The Pi-thons, The Pro-tractors, and The X-ecutors contested I the final round of quiz. The audience was also involved by giving them opportunity to answer the questions and earn sweets in return.
All the participants showed their promptness and numerical competency with confidence and great vigour. Both the teams from Class IV A won the quiz with a clean sweep.
Honourable Director Sir, Capt. Arvind Saluja and School Principal, Ma’am Sonia Wadhwa appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants and motivated the students and teachers to organize more such events futuristically to help the students develop the team spirit, inquisitiveness, self –confidence and love for the subject.
